About Us
"... a commonality amongst athletes who set goals and test their bodies is a display of unrelenting spirit and resilience: mettle."
Ask a hundred different people who are participating in a race or competing in a sport why they're doing it, and in response, you’ll likely get a hundred different answers. Motivation might be driven by the thrill of the competition, the joy of a physical challenge, the camaraderie among teammates, the laughter, the tears, or the glory... the beauty of the struggle.
From vertical running to CrossFit, to ultra-endurance cycling, a commonality among athletes who set goals and test their bodies is a display of unrelenting spirit and resilience: mettle.
Whether you are the least experienced athlete or the most, whether you finish first or last, it takes courage, grit and a belief in yourself to trust that no matter what, you are exactly where you are supposed to be.
Just as there are a million reasons to celebrate the incredible tenacity of the winners and those at the top of their field, there are also a million more stories to uncover across the field - stories of joy, fear, courage, exceptional feats and exceptional kindness, the good, the bad, the ugly and the incredibly funny. It’s these stories that The Mettleset aims to share.
